Order Form Opens May 1st for Virtual Drive Through Plant Sale
Information and photos released by Chelan FFA
FFA Advisor, Bailey Dezellem, faced a unique dilemma this year with the club’s premier fundraiser: the annual plant sale. Unique circumstances call for unique solutions. So, Dezellem has announced that in order to follow the governor’s “Stay Home, Stay Safe” order, Chelan FFA will be having a virtual drive through plant sale.
Order forms open on Friday, May 1st. While there may be a few glitches in this first time process, community members will be relieved that they can still order and acquire the beautiful flowers they’ve come to rely on each year.
In the communication Dezellem released, she lists the steps to follow:
- Visit https://sites.google.com/g.chelanschools.org/chelan-agricultural-education/home and click on the plant sale link. Dezellem notes “this is a constant work in progress, as I am using pictures taken this year so you know exactly what you are getting”. I also have a Facebook event if you go to Chelan FFA on Facebook.
- The order form will open Friday, May 1st.
- Your total cost will also be calculated when you order. A copy of your order will be sent to myself, as well as your email to help with receipts.
- You will also be able to set a time and date to pick up your plants, which we will have ready for you without even needing to leave your vehicle!
- We are only able to accept cash or check in the exact amount, which we will take when you arrive for your plants.
Above all, please bear with me as this is a new way of selling plants for me as well.
Questions? Email me at chsffa@g.chelanschools.org, so I can be less likely to miss any. The more, the better, so I can make this process smoother ahead of time.
I do want to give a huge shout out to Breanne, Robin, and Rick Hanson for being such amazing people on helping keep the greenhouse going, as well as all those who have offered their assistance throughout this process. This is an amazing community.
Thank you,
Bailey Dezellem
