Chelan Scores 6th Overall in a Very Competitive Field

On December 11, Chelan FFA sent a team of students to compete at state for Apple Evaluation in Wenatchee.
The team of (pictured left to right) Molly Oswald, Macaela LaPorte, Aliyah Finch, Obed Diaz, and Clayton Reeves took 6th overall out of 25 teams in a very competitive field. Macaela was 4th overall individual where the top 7 were all less than 10 points apart. Molly was 15th overall individual.
Bailey Dezellem – Agricultural Science Teacher/FFA Advisor indicated “These students have put in a ton of time and effort for this achievement. Lunches, advisory, after school, and even coming in on weekends.”
Dezellem also extended a special thank-you to Jeff LaPorte for his time, support, and expertise. “This team has had the amazing opportunity to work closely with him, and we wouldn’t have been as successful without him.”
