Chelan Cross Country Update

CHS competes in Wenatchee Cross Country Meet

The Chelan Cross Country team traveled to Wenatchee’s Walla Walla Park on March 13th to compete in the Wenatchee Cross Country meet.

Once again freshman Cray Silva led the boys’ teams placing 7^th. Luke Simmons continues to improve, placing 9^th only 8 seconds behind Silva. Tucker Fogelson, Elijah Strode David Payan, and Ringo Rentaria all competed in the varsity race. Freshmen Ian Garfoot and Gio D’Orazio paced 10^th and 14^th respectively in the JV race.

In the girls’ race, once again Mireya Garibay and Teegan Silva paced the team. They traded number one spots again as Garibay earned the top spot for the Goats placing 6^th and Silva placed 10^th. Lana Fielding, Ella Polley, and Savannah Greshem competed in the girls’ race.

The next meet will be league Thursday, March, 25^th at Walla Walla Park in Wenatchee.
