Emergency Declaration reflective of the Governor’s Stay-at-Home Proclamation has been extended

From the press release “During our Monday, May 4th Chelan County Commission meeting Resolution 2020-32, relating to the Emergency Declaration for Chelan County, was extended as Resolution 2020-48 until May 31, 2020. However, Resolution 2020-39, relating to Short-Term Rentals was not extended and shall expire at midnight tonight.”
Commissioners say they are continuing to move forward to evaluate the role Short-Term Rentals play in the diverse communities in Chelan County. The board’s current schedule is to finalize their regulations in early August. They urge the Short-Term Rental community to continue to be aware of the general concern over the COVID-19 situation and incorporate that concern in their operation procedures.
