The North Central Washington Library Network has announced the return of several services throughout the five-county library district.

Starting September 14th, residents across Okanogan, Ferry, Grant, Chelan and Douglas counties will be able to once again borrow any item in the library collection of more than 500,000 materials and receive those items at their local library (through curbside pickup) or through the Mail Order Library.

In addition, Chelan and Douglas county branch libraries will begin accepting returns at their book drops on Tuesday, September 8th.

NCW libraries in Grant, Okanogan and Ferry counties — all in Phase 2 or 3 of the state’s reopening plan — started offering curbside pickup earlier this month. The state Department of Health this week approved curbside library service in Chelan and Douglas counties, which are still in Phase 1.5.

Curbside pickup services will begin at libraries in Wenatchee, East Wenatchee, Cashmere, Peshastin, Leavenworth, Entiat, Chelan, Manson, Waterville, and Bridgeport on Sept. 14. Hours for curbside service will be updated for each branch on the NCW Library website.

The Mail Order Library allows library card holders the ability to reserve any item in our collection and receive the item via USPS at their home address, at no cost to the patron.

Check back on the website for more updates.

NCW Libraries is committed to ensuring staff and patron safety during our contact-free curbside pickup service. To learn more about curbside service click here.
