First meeting of these two Lake Chelan Valley teams this century
information released
After the startup of Manson tennis several years back, Saturday (3/25) marked the first meeting of these two Lake Chelan valley teams this century! However, Manson is no longer a “startup” team. They’ve had players go through the program start to finish, and that senior-laden Manson boys team is the best B tennis team I’ve ever seen in my 20+ years. However, our relatively young Chelan boys (no seniors) gave Manson everything they could handle, and I’m very, very proud of their toughness and tenacity!
The girls matchup was an interesting juxtaposition, with Chelan being the senior-laden squad, and Manson being young and promising.

#1 Singles: Ben Cullison (M) def Rylen Moody 2-6, 6-2, 6-4 <Cullison is a state tournament veteran and the top-seeded returner from the 2022 district tournament, so Moody’s near victory makes Rylen one of the “players to beat” in our region this season.>
