Chelan Fire & Rescue responded to a reported brush fire on the road near 60 SR 150.  The reporting party called in at 11:43 today stating the small brush fire was approximately 15-20 feet away from a building.

Firefighters arrived at 11:48 and reported a small fire in tall grass approximately 10 X 20 feet.  Crews quickly extinguish the fire with assistance from Chelan County Sheriffs with no property loss.  Cause of the fire is still undetermined at this time but it was reported that someone threw something out of the window of a passing car that started the fire.

Chelan Fire & Rescue would like to remind everyone that even with the wet weather from the past weekend we are experiencing drier than normal conditions with all indications leading to a busier than normal fire season
