WSP investigating the accident which occurred just south of Beebe Bridge

Orondo Fire responded at 3:30 Friday afternoon to the report of an auto accident on US 97 just south of the Beebe Bridge. The first arriving units found a damaged pickup with one injured driver.
The truck was traveling southbound on US 97 when a broken brake drum off a semi flew through its windshield striking the lone occupant. The driver was treated at the scene and then transported to Lake Chelan Health emergency department.
The Washington State Patrol is investigating.
Emergency Responders were on scene from Orondo Fire, LCH Ambulance and the Washington State Patrol.
