Do you want to work in the great outdoors in the summer of 2019? With more than 100 jobs available in positions ranging from archeology to trails to fire, there are plenty of opportunities to care for the land and serve people across the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest. This year, all summer job applications must be submitted online at usajobs.gov between September 17 and October 12, 2018.
“These are amazing opportunities along the Cascades to serve public lands and communities alike,” said Deputy Forest Supervisor, Erick Walker. “If you want to work for the Forest Service in the summer of 2019, now is the time to prepare your resume and other materials for USAjobs.”
From the Canadian border to the Goat Rocks Wilderness south of I-90, seasonal Forest Service employees help provide clean water, abundant wildlife habitat, sustainable forest products, wildfire support, incredible recreation, and much more across 4.2 million acres.
Applications will be accepted only through the USAjobs website. Potential applicants are encouraged to access the website early to allow time to create or update their user accounts. Pacific Northwest job announcement numbers, an interactive job map, and other resources are also available online.
