PUD Conducting Fishery Studies

Community members may – or may not – notice a slight dip in lake level early next week as Chelan PUD prepares for fishery studies in the Chelan River. Once the lake is down about 0.3 feet, the level will come back up as water is held back for several days for the crew to complete the work.
Today’s lake level is about 1,099.4. Lake Chelan is a “full lake” at (or above) 1,098.0 feet above sea level and 1,100.0 feet is the license maximum. You can access ongoing lake levels, temperatures and other data by clicking the PUD link on Lake Chelan Now’s home page.
