The Chelan wrestling team capped an outstanding season by sending 10 wrestlers to the State Tournament last week in Tacoma. The Goats were represented at the Mat classic by two girls and eight boys from the CHS program.
For the second year in a row, Sebastian Cisneros captured 3rd place in his division. Complete tourney results are listed below.

The Chelan High School wrestling team battled fiercely at the 2025 WIAA Mat Classic XXXVI, with a standout performance by Sebastian Cisneros, who claimed 3rd place in the Boys 1A 126 bracket. With multiple wrestlers earning key wins throughout the tournament here’s a full recap of how our Goats fared:
Boys 1A Results:
106 — Conner Scaman (33-11): Scored 13.0 team points
– Won his first match by fall over Rey Andrade Torres (Wapato) in **1:42**
– Fell to Leonel Lustre (Zillah) in **3:56**
