Chelan Valley Media Group, LLC has announced the sale of KOZI AM, KOZI FM, KZAL FM and all associated translators. These stations are based in Chelan, Washington serving Chelan, Douglas and Okanogan Counties.
KOZI-FM programs a highly popular full-service Adult Contemporary format featuring the ever-popular 2nd Cup of Coffee Program live Monday-Saturday. The station also carries live Seattle Seahawk games and live Local High School Football and Basketball for Brewster and Chelan. KOZI FM has held the distinction of “Community Radio” for over 65 years in the valley and maintains this position in the dynamic and growing region of North Central Washington.
KOZI-AM programs a local sports and news/talk format featuring Fox News and live Seattle Mariners action. The KOZI signal reaches the entire Chelan basin.
KOZI Radio is the “go to” in the Community with 4 of 5 residents listening every single day for breaking news, information and informative local and regional advertising.
KZAL-FM (Z-Country 94.7) programs a popular Country Music format with local news, weather and entertainment. The KZAL signal reaches the entire Chelan and Wenatchee Valleys and is a strong local station in both markets.
CVMG is hoping to find a buyer committed to the region and who also recognizes the power and importance of Community Radio.
Chelan Valley Media Group acquired the stations in July of 2021 from Icicle Broadcasting. Current owners plan to retire.
