Fifteen women were in competition last Thursday. The game was Blind Mice, where the pro shop draws 3 random holes after we tee off and we subtract these holes from our gross score less our handicap.
- Division 1: First Place: April Talley, 55.
- Division 2: First Place: Linda Hahn, 61.
- Division 3: First Place: Tina Nyce, 52. Second Place: Carol Griffin, 53.
April Talley was the lone birdie girl and had two of them on holes 1 and 2, plus she had the lone chip-in on hole 2.
Meanwhile, the final match was played in our club’s match play championship between Carla Bailey and Julie Allison. Carla won over Julie 4 and 3. Congratulations to Carla Bailey our new Apple Blossom Match Play Champion for 2024.
Next week’s competition will be for foursomes called “cha, cha, cha”. One best ball score, two best ball, 3 best ball, repeat.
