Derby scheduled for April 27th on Wapato Lake in Manson

The Manson Chamber of Commerce is proud to present the Hooked on Manson Trout Fishing Derby, on Saturday, April 27th on Wapato Lake
This derby is open to youth and adults with three age categories including up to 8 years old; 9-16 years old; and 17+. Each Angler will be competing to bring in their 3 largest fish by weight to place in their category.
Tickets are $8 each for youth 0-8 and youth 9-16. For ages 17+, tickets are $15 each.
Camping is available on the lake at Wapato Lake Campground and Kamei Campground. There are also many lodging opportunities close by. Visit the Manson Chamber’s places to stay page for more information.
Rules:
It is each participant’s responsibility to be familiar with and follow all derby rules.

3rd: A Drone & a Swate Rod & Reel
Ages 17 – Adult:
1st: Guided Fishing Trip with Chelan Sunrise Charters
2nd: Lawn Mower from Rowe’s Tractor
3rd: $400 Battery Gift Certificate to Les Schwab & $200 Gift Certificate to Bob Feil Boats & Motors
SCHEDULE:
– Registration Opens: 5am at the Wapato Lake Boat Launch – 153 E Wapato Lake Rd. Manson, WA 98831
– Derby Fishing Starts: 6am
– Weight In: You will have until 12pm (noon) to bring in up to 3 fish for a cumulative weight in.
– Award Presentations: 1pm – You must be present to win
