National Weather Service calls for more snow, wind, & bitter cold

The National Weather Service has issued Winter Storm Warnings, Avalanche Warnings, Winter Weather Advisories, Winter Storm Watch and Wind Chill Watch for the next several days in various locations from the Cascade Mountains to the Idaho Panhandle.
Isolated pockets throughout North Central Washington will experience snow, possible wind gusts and a severe drop in temperature resulting in a wind chill factor that could lead to dangerous conditions for people and outdoor animals.

More Snow through Early Friday
Another round of colder snow will occur into early Friday. The heaviest accumulations will be over the Idaho Panhandle, the Cascade Mountains, and Southeast Washington.
Increasing north or northeast winds Thursday night into Friday will bring the potential for blowing and drifting snow from Sandpoint into Spokane and the Palouse.

Bitterly Cold Conditions:
Confidence is increasing for very cold temperatures Friday into early next week with the arrival of an Arctic air mass.
Gusty north to northeast winds on Friday and Saturday will create dangerous wind chills as low as -20F or colder in some areas.
