Large quantity of drugs, cash and firearms seized at the Wenatchee Red Lion

On 11/29/2023 the Columbia River Drug Task Force obtained information that 38 year-old Steven E Graham, a target of theirs, was staying at the Wenatchee Red Lion. The ongoing investigation they were conducting resulted in evidence indicating Graham was dealing a high quantity of drugs, illegally in possession of a firearm, and was wanted on a felony arrest warrant. Based on the information they had, the CRDTF formulated a plan to surveil Graham until they were able to safely place him into custody.

While surveilling Graham, Task Force Detectives observed what they believed to be several drug transactions out of a room at the Red Lion. At approximately 9:25 that evening, detectives observed Graham and two other people exit the room and begin loading several bags into a vehicle. As they were getting into the same vehicle, detectives moved in and placed Graham under arrest. One of the two people with Graham was 32 year-old William C Swager-Larson. He was also wanted on a felony arrest warrant and was taken into custody. The third person was temporarily taken into custody and later released.
Detectives obtained search warrants for the vehicle Graham got into, in addition to the room Graham was staying in.

As a result of this investigation, detectives seized 9,401 fentanyl pills, 521 Xanax pills, 219 grams of methamphetamine, 5 firearms (3 of them were stolen), and $19,074 in cash.

Graham is facing charges of Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver- Fentanyl, Unlawful Delivery of Controlled Substance – Fentanyl, Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver- Meth, Unlawful Delivery of Controlled Substance – Meth, Unlawful Possession of a firearm 2nd Degree, and Possession of a Stolen Firearm, in addition to his Felony Arrest Warrant.

This is a result of the Task Forces’ hard work, tireless effort, and commitment to getting deadly drugs and dangerous people off the streets. It is also a reflection of The Chelan County Sheriff’s Office, Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, Wenatchee Police Department, and East Wenatchee Police Department’s commitment to that effort.
