Stefani Morgan takes over as Executive Director

In a letter written to Friends and Supporters, Mikayla Gonzalez announced her departure of Executive Director of Thrive Chelan Valley. Her vacated position will be filled by new Executive Director, Stefani Morgan.

Morgan has served as Program Director for Thrive for the past 18 months. Thrive Chelan Valley is a local 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to ensuring that all youth in the Lake Chelan valley have everything they need to reach their full potential. The organization’s three mission pillars include Thrive Cares, Thrive Mentoring and Thrive Teen Center. The letter from outgoing Executive Director, Mikayla Gonzalez is presented in its entirety:

Dear Friends and Supporters.

It is with a mix of emotions that I announce my departure as the Executive Director of our youth nonprofit. Serving alongside all of you has been an incredible honor. After careful consideration, I’ve made the decision to prioritize spending more time with my family. I am immensely grateful for the dedication and support you’ve shown and I will carry these memories with me forever.

Any feelings of sadness I have about stepping down are overshadowed by my excitement for our new Executive Director, Stefani Morgan! Stefani has been an incredible Program Director for the past year and half. I have had the privilege of working alongside her and seeing her work ethic and humanitarian heart. I trust that our organization will continue to thrive under her leadership, fueled by your unwavering commitment to our cause. Thank you for the honor of working together and for the lasting impact we’ve made on the lives of our youth.
