The City of Chelan has an upcoming vacancy for City Council Position No. 2. This position is currently held by Mayor-Elect Erin McCardle. She will be vacating the City Council position in January of 2024 when her term as Mayor begins.
Interested City residents are encouraged to apply for the position. Eligibility requirements include: Resident (full-time) within the city limits of Chelan for at least one year and registered voter of at least 18 years of age with voting ability in the City of Chelan. You must include your city street address for verification purposes. Post Office Box addresses will not be considered. Interviews will be held at the January 2, 2024 City Council Workshop beginning at 4:00 p.m. The successful candidate will be appointed at this meeting and must be prepared to participate in the City Council Workshop immediately following.
To be considered, please complete the Councilmember Application on the City Website at https://cityofchelan.us/. Please submit your application by 5:00 p.m. on December 27, 2023. Submissions received after this date will not be considered.
