School District Seeks Applicants for Ballot Measure Committee

Participants will write for/against statements for Tri-County Special Election Voters’ Pamphlets

Lake Chelan School District is seeking applications from persons interested in being appointed to a committee to write the for/against statements for the Chelan, Douglas and Okanogan Counties Local Voters’ Pamphlets.

The content produced will be related to the District’s following ballot measures to be considered at the February 13, 2024 special election:

(1) Replacement Educational Programs and Operation Levy; and

(2) Replacement Capital Levy For Educational Technology and Safety Improvements.

Those interested should send their name, address, phone number and which position they represent to Brad Wilson, Superintendent, at PO Box 369, Chelan, WA 98816 or via email at wilsonb@chelanschools.org by December 8, 2023.

The Board will take action on the appointments at its December 11, 2023 regular board meeting.
