District 3 meeting Sept. 28 with Commissioner Gering

Chelan County Commissioner Tiffany Gering will hold a community meeting on Thursday, Sept. 28, in Chelan. The meeting will be 5 to 7 p.m. at Chelan City Hall, 135 E. Johnson Ave.
Gering holds regular outreach meetings in District 3 to update the community on current county news and to speak with constituents. Joining her on Sept. 28 will be department directors from Community Development, Public Works and Natural Resources. There also will be an opportunity for citizens to ask questions or to share their concerns.
In related news, the County Commissioners are responding to public feedback, including many objections, on their latest proposed amendments to the codes for short-term rentals. The commissioners have scheduled a workshop for Tuesday, October 3 to review the proposed amendments.
