What a beautiful day we had to play our beautiful course. Not too hot, not too cold and no thunder and lightning. Even though it was the start of Labor Day weekend, we still had 17 players show up for today’s competition.
Today’s game was a best ball team foursomes involving our handicaps and a rotating pink ball. It was very fun to cheer on our teammate who had control of the pink ball.
Today’s winners:
- First place with 137: Stacy Bjarnason, Nancy Judson and Tina Nyce.
- Second place with 140: Barb Rayburn, Susie Clausen, Carol Giffin and Karen Erickson.
- Chip-ins were made by Tina Nyce hole 17, Bernie Rayner hole 13, Carla Bailey hole 16. KP was on hole 18 and Barb Rayburn landed 11’,4” away. The lone birdie girl today was Linda Reister on hole 2.
Don’t forget about our tee time changing next Thursday, Sept. 7th.Our tee time will be 8:30 am and you need to check in by 8 am.
