Chip seal work begins this week; will continue into September

Chip seal work on a section of State Route 971/Navarre Coulee Road will begin Monday.
Central Washington Asphalt is the contractor for this project that will chip seal SR 971/Navarre Coulee Road from milepost 1 to milepost 6. Working hours are Monday through Thursday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Travelers should plan for reduced speed limits, flagger controlled traffic and pilot car with delays up to 20 minutes during working hours.
Work on Navarre Coulee Road is scheduled to wrap up in mid September, but work is dependent on conditions. Updates will be shared on the WSDOT real time travel map and on Twitter at @WSDOT_East.
