Bridge joint repair will extend work to US 2/97 east of Don Senn Memorial Interchange
information released by WSDOT
Work on the US 2/97 bridges just east of the Don Senn Memorial Interchange/Big Y has been extended up to one week. During the contracted work to repair and pave the bridge deck road surface, damage occurred to the center joint that connects the two bridge structures over Peshastin Creek.
The deck paving cannot be completed until repairs are made to this joint. With the bridge concrete deck exposed in certain places, current traffic control must remain in place. The bridge joint repair and final paving work is likely to take another week.
Updates will be shared on the WSDOT real time travel map and on Twitter at @WSDOT_East.
