Boys and Girls both improve to 5-0 in CTL

Chelan Tennis traveled to Quincy for a CTL matchup on Thursday, April 13. Following are the results.
Girls: Chelan 5, Quincy 0

The Chelan Lady Goats improve to 5-0 in the CTL and 7-1 overall
Boys: Chelan 4, Quincy 1
#1 Singles: Rylen Moody (Ch) def Harrison Hyer 4-6, 6-1, 7-5 <Entertaining match! Both players performed very well, and Rylen continues to be clutch at the end of close matches.>
#2 Singles: Isaac Dearie (Q) def Luke Christopherson 2-6, 6-1, 7-6 (7-5)

That 4-1 team score on the boys’ side is very deceiving. At 5:45 p.m., after the threatening rain had passed to the north, all three singles matches were a virtual dead heat and could have gone either way. That’s a solid road win for the Goats against a tough Quincy squad. The Chelan boys improve to 5-0 in the CTL, and 6-2 overall.
