36th Annual Wayne Kelly Top Dog Parade on Saturday

St. Patrick’s Day weekend in Lake Chelan will be capped off with the always popular Top Dog Parade on Saturday in downtown Chelan. Canines, and perhaps even a goat or pig, will be accompanied by their humans as they make their way down Woodin Avenue starting at noon with the sounding of the fire siren.
While the parade starts at noon, registering your pet to be considered this years Top Dog begins around 11:15 to 11:30 in the parking lot behind Wells Fargo Bank. No rain or snow is in the weather forecast for Saturday and the temperature is expected to be in the upper 40’s.
If you are unable to attend the parade in person, LakeChelanNow will livestream the event on our Facebook page starting a few minutes before 12-noon.
Also on Saturday, the Lake Chelan Lions Club will once again be hosting the annual Shamrock Shuffle Fun Run starting at 9:30 am at Riverwalk Park. Those who run or walk the event help raise money that aids children with T1 Diabetes.
