Washington State Parks is in the midst of their seasonal park aide recruitment. Applications are being accepted for positions in NCW State Parks:

  • Alta Lake,
  • Bridgeport,
  • 25 Mile Creek,
  • Lake Chelan

This job is perfect for anyone who loves the outdoors and varied work duties – a mix of public facing, independent and team work. Among our park aides, we have young people fresh out of high school and college; military veterans transitioning to civilian work; people changing careers, reinventing themselves or taking some time to figure things out; and seniors looking for an encore.

Nothing beats summer in the PNW, and park aides get to enjoy that each day. They get lots of experience learning about the park system, opportunities to meet staff and visitors and training in everything from using hand and power tools to driving tractors and boats. Working as a Park Aide is also a great way to get one’s foot in the door with Washing State Parks or to launch into public lands work. Park aides also get paid sick and vacation leave, and certain parks offer housing options or complimentary RV spaces if the park aide has an RV, camper or van.
