A popular spring event returns on Saturday, April 16 with the return of the Chelan Earth Day Fair following a two year hiatus. Following last years virtual fair, event organizers are excited for a return to an in-person event.

Event coordinator Anne Brooks said, “we were glad to get the word out about the environment while capturing the spirit of the fair virtually, but there’s nothing like the energy and fun of a park full of happy people.” The local Earth Day Fair is one of the longest running in the state having started in 1989.

The event serves as a coming out party for folks in the valley eager to get outside after the long winter. As in the past, fair goers will enjoy a garden center, the library book sale, educational displays and activities, recycling and waste reduction tips, a large fleet of electric vehicles and dozens of vendors with environmentally conscious wares. Live music and food trucks will also once again be featured.

Earth Day Fair hours are 10 am to 4 pm at Riverwalk Park. Entertainment will be provided by Mike Bills, Lake Chelan Jazz Band, Kevin Jones Trio, Fancy Feat and Saddle Rocks. Click here for the complete schedule of entertainment  https://www.chelanearthdayfair.org/schedule/
