The Manson Lady Trojans took the floor Thursday night (12/2) for the first time this season against the Fillies of Bridgeport. The Lady Trojans prevailed 52-38 against a scrappy, hustling Fillies team who were looking for their first victory at home. Manson used a stout defensive effort in the 3rd quarter to stymie the Fillies, whose only points in the quarter came from a pair of free throws.
“Great first effort… our defense and press break gave us the spark we needed,” said Manson Head Coach Steve Nygreen.
Manson travels to Soap Lake Saturday for a non-league matchup before travelling to Brewster next Tuesday for their league opener.
