Competition Builds for Upcoming Invitational Tournament

The Ladies Golf Club is busy preparing for their Invitational tournament to be held on September 16th. This event builds our scholarship fund every year and we thank all of you contributing to our scholarship sustainer fund. There are entry forms in the women’s locker room if you have not already signed up.
This week’s competition was Par 3s plus 5 (gross score of all par 3s plus 5 other holes less ½ your handicap). Sixteen women were in attendance.
- Division 1: First place, Linda Hahn, 27.5.
- Division 2: First place, Mary Jo DuRuz, 27.5. Second place was a tie between Janet Foyle and Loa Servis, 29.5. Division 3: First place, Joni Dedo, 26. Second place, Bernie Rayner, 29.
- Nancy Judson had the lone birdie on hole 17 with a chip-in and split the chip-in pot with Jan Artim who’s chip-in was on hole 1. It was quite the jackpot as no one had a chip-in last week.
Next week’s competition is Monthly Medal (low gross and net by division and fewest putts). Please note that our tee time changes to 8:30 am. Please check in by 8:00 am.
