Park is closed to the public

Chelan Falls Park will temporarily close to the public starting today as a Type I incident management team establishes a fire camp associated with the Twenty-Five Mile Fire.

The 33-acre park will house between 250-400 fire personnel for about two weeks, depending on fire conditions. The closure includes the boat launch, swimming area, sports fields and picnic shelters at Chelan Falls Park.

The boat launch at Beebe Bridge Park, located across the Columbia River from Chelan Falls, will remain open. Chelan PUD offers 14 other parks to explore, including Chelan Falls Powerhouse Park, Chelan Riverwalk Park and Manson Bay Park. For information, visit chelanpud.org/parks.

Reminder: Please remember that until further notice, a fire ban has been issued in Chelan PUD parks. Charcoal or wood fires are not allowed. Camping stoves and portable gas/propane fire pits are allowed.  More information regarding local fire restrictions can be found here:
