Even and Odd Competition Closes out July Golf

Eighteen women played on Thursday. The competition was Even and Odd where you count even numbered holes on the front nine and odd numbered holes on the back nine less ½ your handicap.
- Division 1: First place, April Talley, 31.
- Division 2: First place, Mary Jo DuRuz, 29.5. Second place, Ann Britt Gagnon, 30.
- Division 3: First place was a tie between Judy Johanson and Jane Storms, 29.5.
Birdies were made by April Talley on hole 12 and Linda Hahn on hole 14 with a chip-in birdie on hole 16.
Chip-ins were also made by April Talley on hole 17, and Karen Erickson had two chip-ins on holes 11 and 12.
Next week’s competition is Monthly Medal (low gross and net by division and fewest putts). Next week is also Round 1 of our Club Championship with three rounds total over one and a half weeks.
