Lake Chelan School District, Manson School District, City of Chelan, Fire District #7, and Hospital District No. 2 candidates will answer community questions

Find out who will get your vote. The Lake Chelan Chamber of Commerce will host a candidate forum for Lake Chelan School District, Manson School District, City of Chelan, Fire District #7, and Hospital District No. 2 candidates on July 19th at 6:00pm. The forum will be held in the Commons at the Manson High School (1000 Totem Pole Rd, Manson, WA 98831). Between the five districts, there will be 27 candidates represented.
“Our goal is to provide community members with the opportunity to ask questions and make an informed decision about who will get their vote,” said Chamber Executive Director Mike Steele.
The format will include an introduction and explanation of platform by each candidate, followed by a community question and answer period. The public is encouraged to pre-submit questions to jill@lakechelan.com. Attendees will be provided with the opportunity to submit questions the evening of the forum.
The forum is scheduled to occur two weeks prior to the primary election deadline of August 3. KOZI Radio will broadcast these events from a live remote. Listeners can tune in at 100.9FM/1230AM.
