High Trek Chelan Prepares to Open on May 15th

High Trek Chelan is a brand-new adventure ropes course with ziplines opening May 15, 2021 above Slidewaters Waterpark. A partnership between High Trek Adventures and Slidewater ownership, this adventure course and zipline will offer the thrill-seeking family or group a dry-land activity 9+ months of the year. With over 60 challenging elements spread across the three-level course, everyone can test their bravery and their skills in the main course as well as feel the wind in their face on over 400 feet of ziplines.
“It is so exciting to bring this family-friendly activity to Slidewaters and Chelan,” Owner Brad Halbach said. “We love seeing guests of all ages up in the air having a great time conquering the course.”
High Trek Chelan is also excited to bring the first axe throwing venue to the Chelan Valley. The four-lane axe throwing venue will feature digital targets and scoring and is the perfect way to wrap up your aerial adventure or to be entertained while always keeping your feet firmly planted on the ground.
In addition to complementing both Slidewaters and the exciting new Lakeside Surf with a dry entertainment option, High Trek Chelan will also fill a void for group and corporate outings looking for tremendous team building and outdoor entertainment options. Senior trips, school field trips, corporate outings and after school programs all highlight the list of options available at High Trek Chelan.
In preparation for opening in May, hiring has begun for Ropes Course Facilitators. Training will begin May 3rd and interested applicants can find more information on hightrekchelan.com. After a tremendously difficult 2020 season, Slidewaters was happy to answer the call from High Trek Adventures about a partnership in opening a ropes course on their property.
The High Trek Adventures Everett location was coming off a record summer of providing outdoor recreational activities to a pent up and eager population. The great numbers they saw while operating a COVID safe facility had them primed for expansion.
The existing relationship with Slidewaters Ownership made it a natural expansion location.
