Do you have old prescription glasses you no longer use? You can help change lives in Kenya by donating your old prescription eyeglasses to the Lake Chelan Rotary Club.
Rotarian Hillary Kosen is traveling to Kenya in mid-March and will deliver your old glasses where they can be gain new life at a place where they are critically needed. They will be matched with individuals and distributed through Kenyan eyeglass clinics. Donations are needed today, Friday, March 12th, to be included in this trip.
Your used eyeglasses can be dropped off before 3 p.m. at the Kelly Allen Agency (102 E. Johnson) in Chelan, or you can contact Tom Tochterman at tomtochterman@gmail.com, or Julie Tochterman at opelgal73@gmail.com to arrange for pickup.
