Curbside pickup will continue

Updated Phase-1 guidelines from the State of Washington were issued last week and resulted in the closure of all 30 North Central Washington public libraries. The Phase-1 designation prohibits in-person library service until a region reaches Phase-2 under the state’s “Healthy Washington-Roadmap to Recovery Plan”.
The Executive Director for NCW libraries Barbara Walters said, “while we can’t see you in person, we are thankful that we can continue to serve you via curbside pickup at all of our libraries through our popular Mail Order Library”.
Access to library online resources will also continue, including eBooks, eAudiobooks, movies, newspapers and magazines, learning resources, and much more. A variety of programs and resources can also be found on the NCW Facebook and website. The library will continue to offer an online application for a library eCard, which allows you to check out physical materials and use online services.
Said Walters, “since last spring, this pandemic has been a constantly evolving situation. From the beginning, NCW Libraries has been committed to responding quickly and in the best interest of our staff, patrons, and communities”.
