Go Fund Me Page Has Been Established

Information released by Family and Friends

Update: The Chelan ASB is sponsoring a show of support for Saul and his family tomorrow before his funeral.   We would like any high school or middle school student to come to the high school on Wednesday October 28th at 11:45 a.m..   We will meet behind the gym/shop near the tennis courts and make posters to show support to the family.   We are providing all the materials.  We will  proceed to Farnham street, and line the sidewalks while the family heads to the funeral.   We ask that all students dress in red or blue, Saul’s favorite colors.

God has called another angel home: Saul Lopez passed away on October 21, 2020, surrounded by his loved ones.

Saul Lopez was a sophomore at Chelan High School. Saul had been a Lifeskills student in the Chelan school district for the past 10 years. He had cerebral palsy and was wheelchair bound. He loved cars, and would pretend that he was always driving a car while wheeling around the school.

Saul was a jokester with a great sense of humor. He loved his family and was loved by everyone he met. Saul had an infectious smile and was always a bright light in the hallways and his Lifeskills classroom. He was always happy, especially at school.

His family has a go fund me page to help with expenses and funeral costs.

The Chelan High School ASB has put together a memorial that we ask students to go and sign. There is a place for flowers and cards. The posters will be presented to the family at a later time. Please come by and sign his poster!
