The iconic bike stand of 35 years in Stehekin has been handed over to new owners

Discover Lake Chelan (DLC) is happy to announce that they have entered into an agreement with Discovery Bikes to acquire the business to further enhance the options for vacationers in Stehekin, WA.
DLC is a new company that runs the Lake Chelan Boat Company run by Brun Garfoot and Reed Courtney, also known as the Lady of the Lake, that provides daily passenger service for customers to and from the headwaters of Lake Chelan.
Ron and Kim Scutt, the Owners of Discovery Bikes, have been operating this essential business for travelers for over 35 years. People rely on bike transportation to explore Stehekin at their own pace. DLC is pleased to carry the Discovery Bikes operation forward, ensuring another important visitor service to remain in the Stehekin Valley.
Discovery Bikes is an embedded business that allows the public to see into the core of what Stehekin is all about and DLC is grateful to carry this legacy on. They will immediately take over the business operations and will keep the name, logo, and website. Ron and Kim will be helping them through the transition for as long as needed.
