The National Weather Service has issued a red flag warning for portions of Central and Eastern Washington Tuesday afternoon into the evening. A red flag warning has been issued for portions of central and eastern WA for Tuesday from 2 pm to 10 pm. Low relative humidities in combination with windy conditions will lead to critical fire weather conditions.
West winds gusting between 25 and 35 mph this afternoon and evening will be common across central and eastern Washington into parts of north Idaho. Dry, warm winds will contribute to the potential for rapid wildfire spread and produce rough water on area lakes.
