Updated 3-25-20 with Link to Council’s Audio Broadcast
Information released by City of Chelan
Next week’s Chelan City Council meeting will take place as scheduled, but not in its normal fashion. The Tuesday (3-24-20) meeting at 6:00 pm will have council members participating on a conference call while city staff and the Mayor will be present at Council chambers.
The change in the meeting was triggered when the city declared a state of emergency in the wake of health concerns over the Covid-19 virus. The City announced Friday that LakeChelanNow will audio livestream the council meeting in its entirety. The meeting will also be recorded and available for playback at a later time at LakeChelanNow.com.
The Council is encouraging citizens to listen from home and to comply with the Presidential directive of limiting gatherings to no more than 10 people.
