England running for the District 3 position

Local resident Dale England, is formally announcing his decision to run for Chelan County Commissioner District 3.
Dale is a 4th generation Lake Chelan Valley native who grew up working on the apple orchard where his mother was born. Dale’s father was seriously injured while fighting a fire outside of Wenatchee. This resulted in Dale and his siblings working all aspects of the orchard. Dale continues to work in the orchards today.
Dale had a 25-plus year career with Chelan County Sheriff’s Office. Dale was honored by his peers by being selected Deputy of the Year 3 times during his distinguished career.
Dale has successfully launched two businesses, Custom Orchard Fumigation and Lake Chelan Helicopters. As the owner of Lake Chelan Helicopters Dale has served both the farming and tourist industries throughout North Central Washington.
Dale’s service and volunteerism has spanned over 35 years. He has been awarded several Kiwanis awards including Citizen of the Year and Kiwanian of the Year. His dedication to the community is demonstrated by his involvement with Kiwanis and other local organizations.
Just ask local community members about Dale. They’ll tell you he is always one of the first to help and is always a very active part of our community. From our schools, churches, civic organizations and the community, Dale gives of his time and talents at every opportunity.
Dale has a unique background that allows him to balance the differing needs of Chelan County. His involvement in agriculture, tourism, and public service has taught him how to balance these key components in our community. Dale has a common sense approach to the issues important to Chelan County residents.
