First Game Tips Off at 10 a.m. on Friday

Chelan basketball teams will return to action this weekend as they host their annual Holiday Tournament. The Lady Goats JV and Varsity squads will join the Boys C-Squad, JV and Varsity teams in hosting schools from around the state.
Most of the tourney games will be played at the Community Gymnasium with the first contest tipping off at 10:00 am Friday. Other schools participating include Eastside Prep, Wilson Creek, Life Christian Academy, Wellpinit and Nooksack Valley.
During the Chelan Boys varsity game at 6:00 pm Friday, senior guard Connor Wilson will be recognized for entering the 1000-point club. Wilson, who leads the team in scoring at 22.5 points per game, reached the scoring milestone in the third quarter of last week’s game at Brewster.
Another highlight of the weekend tournament will be the playing of the annual Alumni game on Saturday afternoon.
LakeChelanNow will provide live broadcasts of Chelan’s Varsity Games on Friday night. The boys are scheduled to tip off at 6 p.m., with the Lady Goats following.
