The 2nd Annual Tony Berger Scramble Golf Tournament was held Saturday, September 14th at the Lake Chelan Golf Course. Pictured above are the Low Gross Team Winners: (left to right) Nick Froman, Dave Spanjer, Jesse Gold, and Shelby Burchett
The golfers were joined by Tony Berger’s two Brother-in-Laws (One flew in from Alaska to play in the Tournament), Tony’s son, Mike, and Tony’s Grandson, Diesel. The field consisted of local golfers that played with Tony as Members of the Lake Chelan Men’s and Senior Men’s Golf Clubs and Members from the Snoqualmie Falls Golf Course where Tony was a long time Member before he moved to Chelan.
The golfers had their pictures taken on the tee box of Hole #12 at the Lake Chelan Golf Course where the recently installed Tony Berger Memorial Bench is located. The Tony Berger Memorial Bench was placed on Hole #12 because Tony once shot a Hole-in-One on this Par 4, 260 yd. hole.
