Tickets are sold at area Farmer’s Markets and from CBC Members

During a recent stroll through downtown Chelan, LCN came across a display table promoting a raffle ticket sale by supporters of the Chelan Basin Conservancy. The primary focus of the Conservancy is to promote public access as well to preserve the unique qualities of Lake Chelan.
The winner of the raffle will receive an uplake adventure for two comprised of a round trip to Stehekin on the Lady of the Lake, a one-night stay at the North Cascades Lodge with breakfast included, and a $100 voucher that can be used at the Stehekin Valley Ranch.
Funds generated from the raffle help the CBC promote a number of their areas of concern, including restoring legal public access to the lake, protecting the lake from invasive species and improving awareness of lead and arsenic present on former orchard land. The $3 raffle tickets will be sold at area Farmers Markets and from CBC members. The winner of the raffle will be announced on July 13th.
