Pool play action starts today

Chelan Boys Basketball will be hosting a weekend long summer basketball tournament featuring 12 teams from throughout the state. Pool play action starts Friday (today) at 6 pm and continues through the championship game Sunday afternoon at 3:15 pm. Games will be played at the high school as well as the Chelan Community Gym.
Chelan Head Coach Jeff Pearl notes that his Goats will start tourney play at 7:15 pm Friday with a matchup against Bellevue Christian at CHS. Chelan will play twice on Saturday with a 10:15 am game versus Elma at the high school and then will take on Nooksack Valley at 2 pm at the Community Gym. The Goats Sunday schedule will be determined by results from the first two days of play.
Teams participating include Chelan, Cashmere, Ilwaco, Riverside, Eastmont, Lake Roosevelt, Cle Elum, Nooksack Valley, Elma, Ephrata, Bellevue Christian and Cascade. Single session admission prices are $4 for adults, $2 for students and free for kids under 12. A tourney pass for all games can be purchased for $10.
