Goats and Lady Goats are both 2-1 in the CTL

The Cascade Kodiaks traveled to Chelan on Wednesday for a tough CTL League Match which ended in a split for the win column. Chelan boys took the win while the Lady Goats dropped their match. Both are now 2-1 in the Caribou Trail League.
Boys: Chelan 4, Cascade 1
#1 Singles: Wyatt Habich (Che) def Hans Schlyer 6-3, 6-0
#2 Singles: Tobin Wier (Che) def Kayden Peterson 6-0, 6-1
#3 Singles: Tyler Higgins (Che) def Cooper Bryan 6-3, 6-3
#1 Doubles: Steven Williams/Eli Phelps (Che) def Quinn Priebe/Torin Brine 6-1, 6-3
#2 Doubles: Josh Pedersen/James Dickinson (Casc) def Aiden Peterson/Jose Torres 6-1, 6-0
The tables were turned from our match vs Omak the night before, when Chelan lost to a veteran Omak team. Despite the fact that Chelan is young, we were still older than Cascade’s squad. The boys did a good job taking care of business. The Chelan boys are now 2-1 in the CTL.
Girls: Cascade 3, Chelan 2

The Cascade girls played great tennis tonight, while Chelan was a little off their game and a little short-handed. The difference in three of these matches was how well the Cascade opponents played at the end of each set to close them out. The Chelan girls are also now 2-1 in the CTL.
