Chelan Faces CTL Rivals in Rescheduled First Round Play-offs on Monday, February 11

UPDATE Friday, February 8, 2:30 PM: Due to inclement weather, the CTL District Tournament has been postponed to Monday, February 11. The new game times are:
- Chelan Girls vs. Okanogan at 3:00 pm
- Chelan Boys vs. Omak at 4:30 pm
Both Chelan district tournament games on Monday will be broadcast live on LakeChelanNow with Dennis Rahm starting with the Lady Goats pre-game show at 2:55 p.m. with the boys game to follow.

It’s the start of a new season as Chelan basketball enters post season play on Saturday in the District Tournament at Eastmont High School in East Wenatchee.
Both the girls’ and boys’ teams play Saturday afternoon in must win games. The Lady Goats square off against Okanogan in a 1 o’clock tip off and come in as the number three seed. Chelan defeated the Lady Bulldogs in two of the three regular games between the two squads. The loser of Saturday’s game will see their season end while the winner moves on to the next round of District play next Tuesday against the loser of Saturday’s District Championship game at 5 p.m. between Cashmere and Omak.
The Chelan boys meanwhile will follow the girl’s game with a 3 p.m. contest against Omak. The Goats have struggled against the Pioneers losing all three head-to-head games this season. Again, the losing team will be eliminated while the winner will play next Tuesday in the second round of the District tourney against the loser of this Saturday’s championship game between Okanogan and Cashmere at 7 o’clock.
