Some timely reminders from Chelan County Elections

Here are a few reminders and deadlines from Chelan County Elections for registering and voting in the 2020 General Election.

Registration Deadline:

Applications for new voter registrations or updates by mail, over the phone, email or online must be received by the Chelan County Elections Office no later than October 26th, 8 days before Election Day, November 3, 2020.

Beginning October 27th, voters registering or updating their existing registration in time for the November 3, 2020 General Election will need to appear in-person no later than 8:00 p.m on Election Day, November 3, 2020. Chelan County Elections Office is located at 350 Orondo Ave Level 3, Wenatchee.

Election Day is Tuesday, November 3, 2020. Washington mails a ballot to every registered voter a few weeks before the election. Keep an eye on the mailbox, and be sure to mail it back or drop it in a drop-box before Election Day! You can also vote in person if you prefer to do so. Washington offers early voting.

All ballots must be delivered to an official ballot drop box (there is one in the alley behind Chelan City Hall) or postmarked by November 3 if using the US Postal Service. Please note what time mail is picked up to ensure your ballot is postmarked accurately.
