Strong Wind Gusts Forecast through Monday Evening

The National Weather Service has continued its wind advisory through Monday evening. Windy conditions are forecast Sunday night into Monday near the Cascades, Columbia Basin, West Plains, Palouse, Pomeroy area, and in the mountains. Gusts in these areas will range from 30-40 MPH with locally stronger gusts of 45-50 MPH possible. These winds may lead to minor impacts across the region. In the Lake Chelan Valley, brief power outages have been reported along with flying debris, numerous tree branches in roadways and many downed trees.
