Heads up: Annual transmission line inspections start Wednesday

Residents may see a helicopter flying low and slowly over high-voltage power lines starting June 7.
Chelan PUD is conducting a routine, annual inspection over 300 miles of transmission lines – from Stevens Pass to Wenatchee, Palisades to Manson. The inspection flights will continue over the next couple of weeks, depending on weather conditions.
