On Friday, October 11, Manson football traveled up to Northeast Washington to take on the Kettle Falls Bulldogs. Manson was able to score at will all game long with 22 points in the first half and 29 points in the second half. The defense was solid in the 2nd half after a few in-game adjustments. The only way Kettle Falls scored in the 2nd half was a scoop and score fumble and a kick return for TD.

On offense the Trojans offensive line was dominating. “They were finishing blocks 10 to 15 yards down the field,” said Coach Johanson, “This is what we’ve been talking about all season. Don’t be a spectator, keep driving defenders until you hear the whistle. Our offensive line certainly stepped up tonight.” Caden Beazley ran for 236 yards and 4 touchdowns behind the dominant offensive line. Parker Schoenwald was also able to get some running room and had a 65 yard touchdown run as well.

The defense played a great game. After two scores in the first half there were a couple changes made and the defense held Kettle Falls to a bunch of 3 and outs the rest of the game.

The only negative from the game was holding onto the ball. The Trojans had 4 fumbles that were recovered by Kettle Falls. Manson will look to correct this problem this Friday as they take on Oroville at home for homecoming.

Manson sits at 3-3 on the season and takes on Oroville for homecoming this week. Kickoff is moved up to 6:00 PM.
